Kate Sim

Kate (she/her) is an independent researcher.
Her research interests include AI, child safety, help-seeking, and platform accountability. She holds over 11 years of experience spanning across community organizing, academia/research, and the tech industry. Most recently, she served as a Product Policy Specialist for Child Safety at Google. She holds her PhD from the Oxford Internet Institute.
