Jonathan Byrne

In 2000 Jonathan commissioned as an Infantry officer and subsequently served in Iraq, Northern Ireland, and Bosnia.

In 2008, he joined the Met Police, qualified as a detective and went on to manage range of investigation teams.

In 2016, Jonathan accepted a role on Uber’s security team and now leads the company’s global public safety operations team. The team provides continuous, year-round, triage and emergency response services across 74 countries, operating from hubs in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and EMEA.
