About me:

s senior director legal counsel, compliance officer, and growth partner, I’ve spent my career at the forefront of technology innovation, regulatory disruption, and data privacy—helping mission-driven start-ups to Fortune 500 companies scale growth, protect corporate reputation, and balance legal risk.

Career-wide, I’ve worked shoulder-to-shoulder with visionaries across more than 50 technology, data analytics, education, and real estate companies and institutions—helping leaders navigate market surges and downturns, crisis incidents, and legal ambiguities.

Along the way, I’ve advised boards, C-suites, and product teams on large-scale products and services, including first-of-their-kind launches and existing product improvements; steered the development and implementation of multi-jurisdictional data privacy compliance programs for organizations governed by complex federal and state laws; and architected legal strategies related to $1M to $1.6B+ commercial agreements.

I’ve also built and managed three legal departments; developed and led 18 legal programs, including data privacy/cybersecurity, product, trust and safety, and insurance; and directed 300+ litigation and administrative matters, including 100+ alternative dispute resolutions.

Outside the office, I’ve been privileged to serve on various governing and advisory boards. I presently serve as a board director for Special Olympics Colorado, and chair the Marketplace Risk Advisory Board, which includes leaders from DoorDash, Google, Meta, Tripadvisor, and Uber.
