- Saarth Shah, Co-Founder & CEO, Sixtyfour AI
- Julian Wong, Head of Fraud & Risk Intelligence, Sixtyfour AI

Verification tells you a document is genuine and a person exists. It does not tell you whether that person is running the account. This session examines nominee and front-owner structures on marketplaces: real, locatable individuals recruited to hold shops operated from elsewhere, alongside fully fabricated identities that verification does catch. Drawn from live investigations across marketplaces in Asia, Europe and North America. Attendees leave able to distinguish three failure modes that look identical to an identity check, and to see which controls actually address each.

Persona Room

Four experts -- drawing on insights from their work at three platform companies and a leading multistakeholder initiative -- will discuss how meaningful consultation helps companies identify emergent risks, build product trust, and support regulatory compliance. Panelists will also address challenges such as engagement fatigue and uneven power dynamics. Attendees will hear strategies for conducting impactful due diligence to respect user rights, while navigating practical realities.

Trust & Safety has always run on data that sits uncomfortably close to surveillance. But the binding constraint used to be human capability and capacity - you could only inspect what you could afford to inspect. AI removes that constraint. The limit is now permission, not cost or competency. That gives us two people who see the same shift from opposite ends.
