Janie Upchurch

Janie Upchurch is a Senior Risk Manager at Lyft and has been with the company for 4 years. Janie is responsible for managing the strategy, renewal cycle, and day-to-day maintenance of numerous insurance programs including: Auto Liability, General Liability for bike and scooter operations, D&O, and Cyber. Janie began her insurance career at Marsh where she focused on gig economy and autonomous vehicle clients and then pivoted to in-house Risk Management at Williams-Sonoma. Janie majored in Risk Management and Insurance at the University of Georgia and has her ARM (Associate in Risk Management).
