Hayley Budd

Having worked in the re/insurance industry for 2 decades, Hayley now leads the Innovation underwriting class at Apollo. She counts Swiss Re and Liberty Mutual as previous employers, where she’s worked across the value chain (claims, operations, underwriting transformation and strategy, product development, partnerships) before eventually making her home in innovation. Hayley leads the first innovation consortium at Lloyd’s, providing re/insurance capacity to companies and startups who see the world differently, and are trying to fill true protection gaps created by emerging risks.
