The Marketplace Risk platform is the most comprehensive source of education, networking and information sharing for startups in the marketplace, sharing, p2p, gig and platform economy ecosystems. The peer-led Marketplace Risk events and programs are industry and solution-focused, with hundreds of startups coming together at each event to learn strategies and tactics tested and vetted through real-world applications, experiences and experts. The Marketplace Risk events and programs rely on your experience and expertise, and they are not about specific sponsors, products and/or services. As such, promoting, demonstrating, advertising and/or selling products or services is strictly prohibited.

The successful submission will clearly apply to marketplace, sharing, p2p, gig and/or platform economy startups - this means and includes in the title and the abstract. Please note that if the submission is chosen, the title, abstract and/or substance may be modified to ensure applicability, relevance and importance to the attendees. Further, submissions should be focused in some way on risk management, trust & safety, compliance and/or legal subject matter. Finally, priority is given to submissions that include startup founders and operators. If your submission does not include startup founders and/or operators, you may be asked to include one or more in order for your submission to be considered. We may also suggest startup founders and/or operators that may be a fit for your submission (and you may proactively indicate that in your submission).

Please note that for conferences and summits, presentations, panels and workshops may be scheduled for either day unless agreed otherwise, and each session is 30 minutes unless arranged otherwise. Each room will be equipped with a laptop, projector and screen. All presentation, panel and workshop materials, including slide decks, summaries and details, must be submitted for review and approval in PowerPoint format by deadlines communicated to you if your proposal is selected. Failure to sumit by deadlines communicated may result in removal from the program. By submitting a proposal, you understand and agree that neither you nor your co-presenter(s), panelist(s) or speaker(s) will receive any honorarium or compensation for your time or reimbursement for travel, accommodation or any other expenses whatsoever. Persons with special needs may make arrangements for accommodations by emailing info@marketplacerisk.com.
