We want to advance and grow the industry. To do that, we have removed financial barriers to participating for unfunded and bootstrapped startups.
In order to attract innovators, entrepreneurs and startups that are bootstrapped and/or unfunded to the Marketplace Risk Management Conference, we recognize that we must remove barriers to participation, including registration fees, and, in some cases, subsidize accommodations. At a minimum, we offer scholarships in the form of complimentary and discounted registration fees to those who qualify, including for marketplace and sharing economy startup founders and operators that would not otherwise attend the Marketplace Risk Management Conference but for the scholarship program.
Qualification for the scholarship program is pretty simple - you simply need to demonstrate that you are: (1) a founder or employee of a bootstrapped and/or unfunded web and/or mobile marketplace technology startup; or (2) you are an entrepreneur or innovator who is interested in the web and mobile marketplace technology industry (but not otherwise employed by a vendor or service provider in the web and mobile marketplace technology industry). In either case, you must show that you would not otherwise attend the Marketplace Risk Management Conference but for the scholarship program.
This is even simpler than the qualifications. Simply contact us or send us an email describing your interest in the Marketplace Risk Management Conference along with your qualifications (1 or 2 from above). Keep in mind, although we interpret the qualification requirements pretty loosely, we want to ensure that scholarships go to those who need it most and who would benefit from the Marketplace Risk Management Conference the most. We will let you know pretty quickly thereafter. Once we do, simply register and attend the entire Marketplace Risk Management Conference, and fill out the surveys for each session that you attend. Once the conference is over and we confirm your attendance and all surveys have been completed, you will be refunded the registration fees. It's as simple as that!
