We’ll discuss strategies for transparent AI communication—such as clear disclosures, appeal mechanisms, and regaining user trust after errors. Emphasis will be placed on fostering collaboration across policy, product, legal, and operations through shared frameworks and governance structures. Beyond the Query: How AI Helps Google Protect Vulnerable Searchers

17 de set. de 2025

From:

3:55 PM

To:

4:25 PM

- Nadja Blagojevic, Trust Manager, Google

Users come to Google Search for a range of information. With more sensitive subjects (e.g., self-harm or eating disorders) there are risks that users may be in a vulnerable position and exposure to certain content could exacerbate their existing state. To address these risks, Google is using LLMs to improve our understanding of the intent behind user queries to serve the most helpful, high-quality information, especially around sensitive topic areas. We'll explain our approach to ranking Search results and how we aim to support vulnerable users by prioritizing immediate access to hotlines and high-quality information from trusted, authoritative sources.

Fraud Never Sleeps: Building Risk Teams for Rocketship Growth

17 de set. de 2025

From:

3:55 PM

To:

4:25 PM

- Shilpak Mahadkar, VP, Business Development and Partnerships, Remitly
- Ashwin Raj, CEO, LeafLink
- Rex Robinson, Director of Product Marketing, Microblink
- Hartley Thompson, President & COO, Microblink

Fraud does not wait for your organization to catch up or for your tech stack to modernize. In high-growth payments, ecommerce, and marketplace environments, fraud moves faster than traditional defenses can react. This session brings together leaders who have built and scaled teams at fintechs, banks, and global platforms. We will examine what it takes to design teams that can keep pace with growth: hiring for the skills that matter, creating processes that can withstand scale, and deciding when to replace legacy systems versus starting with an ML-native culture. Expect a candid look at the trade-offs between speed and safety, efficiency and resilience, and why yesterday’s playbook will not protect tomorrow’s business.
