Joy Park

Joy Park is a Senior Policy Lead at Google. She leads the global policy development for the Play Store regarding generative AI apps, tackling issues including deepfakes, other harmful content such as violent extremism and hate speech, and agentic risks. She also leads the policy development for the Android XR platform, including XR headsets and intelligent eyewear. Previously, Joy was the legal counsel for Asia at the Human Rights Foundation, where she led legal and policy advocacy for the region, working closely with grassroots activists to amplify their voices while focusing on issues relating to freedom of expression and freedom of assembly.
