Damian Ngiam is a Trust & Safety leader with over 10 years of experience working at the intersection of technology, policy, and digital governance at companies such as TikTok, Meta, and Airbnb. As Head of Trust & Safety within Tencent’s Global Public Affairs team, he helps shape global strategies across AI, gaming, messaging platforms, and emerging technologies, with a focus on platform integrity, youth protection, online safety, and responsible innovation.

In addition to his role, Damian actively collaborates with governments, industry associations, NGOs, and academic partners to strengthen digital resilience and build trusted ecosystems across the region. His work focuses on translating emerging risks into practical, scalable approaches that enable safer digital experiences while supporting innovation.
