Alexandra Popken

Alex Popken is a seasoned trust and safety leader. She joined Twitter in 2013 as the second hire focused on moderating advertising content and scaling a robust policy enforcement operation. Since then, she has led or played a part in key milestones in content moderation over the past decade: the enforcement of civic integrity policies, formation of brand safety as a concept and approach, and always-on threat mitigation of adversaries manipulating people and platforms. In her last post at Twitter, Alex led the Trust & Safety Operations organization. Currently, she is VP of Trust & Safety at WebPurify.
