At the beginning of 2018, the Dutch GIG economy gained an online marketplace for day jobs; YoungOnes. Today, more than 20.000 young people work on a freelance basis for roughly 1.500 companies without involvement of an employment agency. Lotte saw the company grow from tech start-up to scale-up in merely 4 years time. Mostly thanks to a team of 75 young, energetic professionals with an average age of 26-years-old. After being responsible for setting up the first international expansion, Lotte is now Head of Operations for that same expansion: the UK.
