Hakim Charles

I am the founder and director of Nexus Horizon, a London-based advisory focused on OSINT analysis and investigations, and stakeholder engagement within the trust and safety space. I spent my 15-year career in the policy development sector, open-source intelligence, and academia, with a concentration on areas such as human rights, extremism, security, EU law, and geopolitics within the EMEA region. Most recently, during my time at Meta, I led content policy development projects within the Content Policy Stakeholder Engagement team, where I focused on policies including hate speech, bullying and harassment, extremism and nudity.
